Tucked down an alleyway off Wisconsin Ave, Two Nine runs a daytime chirashi cafe with a kaiseki-inspired omakase counter upstairs. Chef Zach Ramos sources much of the seafood straight from Toyosu Market in Tokyo, and the nigiri menu changes daily. Ring the bell — they'll walk you up.
Chef Enrique Limardo's flagship pulls from Venezuela, Peru, and the Caribbean, plating dishes as bold in color as they are in flavor. The patacón piña colada and the cacao-basil crumble dessert are the two hardest things on the menu to skip.
